Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease is a degenerative disease characterized by tremors, stiffness (rigidity) and slowness of activities (bradykinesia).

In the past few years great progress has been made in the treatment of this disease and most people are now able to lead independent and productive lives. Besides medications regular exercises greatly helps patients.

Surgery is now an option for this illness and carefully selected patients can benefit tremendously from the same.
